“O QUE ARDE”, CREATED BY OUR MEMBERS OLIVER LAXE AND SANTIAGO FILLOL, WORLDWIDE RELEASE IN CANNES

The movie titled “O que arde”, created by our members Oliver Laxe (director and screenwriter) and Santiago Fillol (screenwriter) has been selected to participate in Cannes Festival in the official section “Un Certain Regard”.

The movie has been shot in Galician, and it reflects the forest fires, the discomfort with the figure of the arsonist and proposes a deep reflection on the cycle of nature.

In 2016, also in the Cannes Festival, the movie titled “Mimosas” created by the same authors won the Critics’ Week Prize.

The worldwide premiere will take place on May 21 in the Festival.
