Second Version Laboratory, offers a complete training and tutoring programme for the development of an audiovisual fiction script for a feature film, series or miniseries throughout all its phases: from an initial synopsis to a complete first version. The laboratory has a financial support of €6,000 for each participant.

In addition, through specific workshops, those selected will receive training in areas such as environmental sustainability, diversity and direction of performers.

The programme will culminate in specific training in promotional techniques, as well as the development of a marketing strategy and the creation of promotional materials for the project. At the end of the process, creators will have the opportunity to present their work to industry representatives at prestigious national competitions and festivals.

In the first edition, a total of 163 projects were received, of which 60% were male and 40% female. Almost 45% of the projects received came from authors living in towns with less than 100,000 inhabitants. In terms of age, 51% of the candidates were between 53 and 61 years old.

The participants of the first edition of the incubator, Carmen Fernández Villalba (‘Scoop’), María Hervera (‘Serviam’) and Marciano Menéndez Aizpurua (‘El montaje’) presented their series projects at Conecta Fiction & Entertainment, the international series co-production and networking event.
