Mechanical rights

Mechanical Rights, which are acquired from copyright holders, gives the right to record, manufacture and distribute another copyright holder's audiovisual work. Examples: CDs, MCs, Films, CD-ROM, etc.

Some remarkable films or TV writers and directors negotiate in the contract with producers the cession of Mechanical rights of their works for an economical compensation. These authors commend DAMA the managing of this compensation.

This Remuneration Rights are managed by DAMA working as a right holder trustee, licensing the rights to commercial users such as distributors, or like intermediaries as publishers, producers.
