SOCIETY OF AUDIOVISUAL AUTHORS
The Society of Audiovisual Authors (SAA) represents Audiovisual Authors’ Collective Management Societies in Europe.
The society’s purpose on its own behalf, on behalf of third parties or in partnership with third parties, in the fields regarding the exploitation by any means of the works of its members or their representatives, shall be the following:
1) The defence and strengthening of the rights, including but not limited
to legal and economic rights, of audiovisual authors, scriptwriters and
directors, with specific reference to but not limited to Europe;
2) To develop, promote and facilitate the management of rights by member
societies;
3) To secure fair remuneration for audiovisual authors for every use of
their works;
The head office is established in Ixelles (B-1050 Brussels), rue du Prince
Royal 87.
DAMA became full member of SAA in march 2010.
